Phoenix Systems has officially signed an industrial partnership agreement with CloudFerro to cooperate on next-generation digital infrastructure under the European IPCEI-CIS (Important Project of Common European Interest – Cloud Infrastructure and Services) programme.
This strategic alliance unites CloudFerro’s leading expertise in sovereign cloud infrastructure, AI- ready environments and large-scale geospatial data processing with Phoenix Systems’ advanced solutions in microkernel real-time operating systems (Phoenix-RTOS) and Edge-AI. By bridging the gap between robust cloud environments and secure edge devices, the partnership aims to accelerate the development of highly resilient, software-defined architectures for both terrestrial and space applications.
The collaboration addresses a critical shift across Europe, where technological sovereignty, data interoperability, and cyber-resilience are paramount. Through this agreement, both companies declare their readiness to further explore joint technological frontiers, combining cloud power with real-time edge intelligence to deliver uncompromised, 100% European digital capabilities.
The IPCEI-CIS programme supports the development of a secure, decentralized next-generation European cloud infrastructure and digital services ecosystem, laying the groundwork for Europe’s future digital autonomy.
