Paweł Pisarczyk awarded with Marek Car prize

Paweł Pisarczyk, CEO of Atende Software and Phoenix Systems, has won this year's Marek Car award prized during the Teleinformatics Forum. The award is granted for outstanding achievements in creating conditions for the development of the information society in Poland. Paweł Pisarczyk, who has already been nominated for the award twice, received it for:- conceptual, practical and popularizing achievements in the field of computer science, especially media platforms and the Internet of Things;- cooperation with the Forum and universities, supporting attitudes (including his own example) showing the possibilities of achieving successes at the highest world level in the field of new technologies in the country,- developing the concept, design and creating one of the first operating systems in the world for IoT. The Phoenix-RTOS operating system designed and implemented under his direction has been made available in an open-source model for anyone interested in creating solutions in the field of the Internet of Things. Thanks to its structural and functional qualities, it represents a global level. The award was also received by dr hab. Beata Czarnacka-Chrobot, SGH prof. Congratulations!
