Pushing the boundaries of autonomous logistics in Europe

2026-06-03

Last week, our team visited T-Systems International headquarters in Berlin to demonstrate the capabilities of a logistic drone powered by our multi-domain autopilot: Phoenix-PILOT Advanced.

The platform underwent a series of highly demanding tests and passed with flying colors. But this success is about much more than just hardware - it proves that the future of autonomous flight relies on a secure, software-defined architecture.

Why is Phoenix-PILOT a game-changer for the UAV industry?

Safety-by-Design: It is built on our proprietary Phoenix-RTOS microkernel, which guarantees separation of processes. A failure in one application will not compromise critical flight control functionality.

Mixed Criticality: Our architecture allows ultra-critical flight control to run alongside demanding Edge-AI algorithms (like machine vision) on a single processor. This drastically reduces the drone's weight, cost, and power consumption.

Sovereign European IP: We are delivering Phoenix-RTOS, a certifiable solution (DO-178C ready) that is fully developed in Europe, completely free from third-party licensing risks and ITAR restrictions.

We are proud to collaborate with industry leaders and develop this cutting-edge technology under the IPCEI-CIS 8ra - Cloud-Edge Continuum project. We are not just building software; we are establishing a new European standard for highly critical Edge-IoT systems.
