Phoenix Systems signed a License Agreement with ELGAMA

ELGAMA ELEKTRONIKA is a Lithuanian company, the leading manufacturer of static electricity meters in the Baltic region. The company develops and produces the whole range of devices for electricity measurement, control and management applied in residential, commercial and industrial sectors. Together with partners, delivers smart metering solutions, applied for utility needs at metering data management level.

Phoenix Systems is a software development company focused on development of the proprietary real-time operating system Phoenix-RTOS and software stacks for Smart Grid such as Phoenix-PRIME. Phoenix Systems strategic goal is to create software-based solutions enabling rapid development of new Internet of Things appliances.

Phoenix-PRIME is the first pure software PLC PRIME protocol implementation and the 5th world implementation certified by PRIME Alliance. Tightly integrated with Phoenix-RTOS, It is a base of the new DCU with balancing meter functionality developed by Atende Software. The first massive roll out of more than 6 thousands units will be completed at the end of the year 2015.

ELGAMA will implement Phoenix-PRIME in the new line of intelligent metering appliances.
