Electronics Design Engineer
Location: Warsaw, Poland
Salary: 9 000 PLN - 15 000 PLN
Phoenix Systems is looking for an Electronics Design Engineer who will be responsible for the design and maintenance of Phoenix-RTOS-based devices.
Tasks & accountabilities
- designing analog and digital electronics,
- solving current technical challenges,
- prototype testing and bring-up, measuring and evaluating their electrical, thermal and environmental parameters, measuring and analyzing key component parameters,
- assessing damage of electronic devices and systems and performing measurements on repaired electronic devices in accordance with technical documentation and conditions,
- quality acceptance of assembled PCBs,
- defining test scenarios, designing test environments,
- verifying product specification adherence,
- analyzing test results and creating research reports,
- creating/developing technical documentation,
- familiarizing yourself with new tools and technologies.
Required skills
- bachelor’s, Master’s, or a Doctorate degree in electronics engineering or a related field,
- at least two years of experience in a similar position,
- practical knowledge of analog electronics,
- knowledge relating to analog and digital electronics design,
- ability to read and create electrical schematic diagrams,
- familiarity with testing methods for analog electronic devices,
- experience with test&measurement equipment, both electronic and mechanical,
- knowledge of digital communication interfaces,
- problem solving skills relating to the design of analog electronics,
- ability to solder and desolder through-hole and surface-mount electronic components,
- experience with any printed circuit boards design software,
- one year of research, scientific or scientific-educational experience at a scientific institution or at a university,
- research-scientific achievements, including authorship or co-authorship of scientific publications related to technologies associated with electronics engineering or a related field,
- experience with research and development projects, especially those funded with European or national funds, related to developing innovative solutions,
- experience in joint research ventures with universities, research institutes, or other entities, both in the country and abroad,
- experience with implementing new technologies,
- the ability to think logically and draw conclusions,
- knowledge of the English language,
- perceptiveness, independence and accuracy,
- the ability to share knowledge and work in a team,
- willingness to constantly expand knowledge.
Additional skills (welcomed not required)
- experience with KiCad EDA software,
- knowledge of the C programming language and scripting languages (bash, python),
- knowledge of hardware description languages (VHDL, Verilog),
- experience in working with FPGAs,
- knowledge of issues related to embedded microprocessor systems,
- a collection of previously completed electronic projects.
